Data Deletion

This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data from UBASE LLC and any of its software products, including FactNet, DealBase, and zpace. We honor data deletion requests in accordance with applicable privacy laws and the terms of our integration partners (including Meta WhatsApp Business Platform, Google, and Apple).

1. What can be deleted

Upon request, we will delete the following data associated with your account:

• Profile information (name, email, phone number, business details)
• Customer-managed data (CRM contacts, conversation history, customer records, files)
• Authentication data and session tokens
• Usage and analytics data tied to your account
• Connections to third-party platforms (e.g., WhatsApp Business Account associations, Google/Apple SSO links)

2. What we are legally required to retain

Some data must be kept for a defined period to comply with tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and electronic-invoicing laws. This data will be retained in restricted, audit-only access until the legal retention period expires, after which it will be deleted automatically.

3. How to submit a deletion request

Option A — Email request

1. Send an email to hello@ubase.dev from the email address registered on your account.
2. Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request
3. Include in the body:
   • The product(s) you use (FactNet, DealBase, zpace, or "all")
   • Your account email and, if applicable, your business name or RUC/EIN
   • Whether you want full deletion or deletion of specific data only

Option B — In-product request

If you are signed in to the product, you can request deletion from the account settings page:

• FactNet: Settings → Account → Delete Account
• DealBase: Settings → Workspace → Delete Workspace
• zpace: contact hello@ubase.dev

Option C — Meta-initiated deletion (DealBase only)

If you connected DealBase to your Facebook or WhatsApp Business account and remove the DealBase app from your Facebook account permissions, Meta will send us a deletion callback. We will process the deletion request automatically within 30 days and can confirm completion via the confirmation code returned to Meta.

4. Identity verification

To prevent unauthorized deletion of someone else's account, we may verify your identity before processing the request. Verification methods include confirming the request from the registered account email, validating an active session, or asking for additional account-specific information. We will not require government-issued ID unless legally necessary.

5. Timeline

• Acknowledgement: within 72 hours of receiving your request.
• Completion: within 30 days, except where legal retention applies (Section 2).
• Backup deletion: complete within 30 additional days from primary deletion.
• Confirmation: written confirmation when deletion is complete.

6. Effects of deletion

After deletion:

• You will lose access to the Service and any data associated with the account.
• This action is irreversible. Data cannot be restored.
• Outstanding contractual obligations (e.g., active subscriptions) must be settled before deletion takes effect.
• For FactNet, electronic invoices already transmitted to SUNAT cannot be retracted; only your account record will be deleted.
